Extra Ordinary Meeting Results
Thanks you to everyone who attended the November 16, 2011 Extra Ordinary Meeting. On behalf of the Executive I would like to express our appreciation to everyone who took time out of there busy schedule to attend and recognize that it was not possible for each member to be there.
To recap the motion was: Be it resolved the the current directors are discharged and noinations for directors be open. The nominating committee to report and an electrion of officers and directors to take place.
After discussion from the floor, both for and against the motion, it was voted on with the outcome of the motion not being passed. In other words, the existing Board members that were elected at the AGM of October 2, 2011 remain in place.

Extraordinary Meeting
To all the Nanaimo Diamonds Synchronized Swim Club members
This is a reminder, you are invited to attend the Extraordinary
General Meeting in 2 weeks, on Wednesday November 16th, 2011 at Beban
Social center at 7:30pm.
If you are a family with 2 parents or guardians, the parent or
guardian has 1 vote each. To ensure you are heard, don’t just send one
family member as 1 representative but instead send every possible
voting member.
The purpose of the Extraordinary meeting is to elect a new board to
represent the Nanaimo Diamonds Synchronized Swim Club for the
2011-2012 season.
There are 9 board member positions which will need to filled. If you
would like to get involved or would like to be considered to be
nominated, please contact the Nomination Committee members who are:
Lynn Brimacombe, Sherry Kuemper and Jackie Myronuk.
I encourage all club members to attend this very important meeting.
